Suchitoto in El Salvador is one of the last remaining colonial towns that still holds tight to their cowboy heritage. But the best part, it’s one of the only villages my family and I ever visited that pulses with an energy that makes you want to stay there forever. Maybe it’s the wonderful people, maybe it’s the great Lake Suchitlan, or maybe it’s simply hanging out in Central Park watching the locals parade on their horses. Whatever it is, we’ve been back here three times already and are itching to go back for more.
