easter-eggsCheck out the following links to find Easter activities for families in Beijing. Not swearing this is exhaustive, but all I could find:

Care for Children Spring Fair – FREE Easter Fun on Saturday, the 23rd, from 11-4

The Inaugural AustCham Beijing Easter Fun Run – FREE run for kids, and big people

The Grand Easter Egg Hunt at Ritz-Carlton – This is advertised as free, but the fine print says children under 10 can participate in the egg hunt at 10:45, WITH pre- registration for one of two brunches.

Comptoirs de France Beijing Biggest Easter Egg Hunt – This one requires purchasing eggs from the sponsor’s store in order to participate.

Easter Kids Party at A-Zkids Entertainment Center – Food, activities, etc. 2:30-5:30 p.m. – no price given.

The Familier’s Egg Day – 160 RMB per child

Café Noir – this one is a brunch (kids eat free with conditions) but includes an egg hunt and other activities.

Time Out’s list of brunches

For those for whom Easter has retained its Christian meaning, here’s what I could find church-wise:

Church of the Good Shepherd – this one comes with an Easter egg hunt!

Beijing International Christian Fellowship – both of these I believe are only open to foreign-passport holders

State-run options:

I’m finding it hard to find specific service times and languages, or even web sites, for these churches, but you can see a list of locations and phone #s.

A general list of churches in Beijing – includes Catholic

Another list – may be a little overlap
