Beaches Resorts has been voted the world’s leading family all-inclusive for more than 14 years and I recently found out firsthand why. In my post, Fun For Everyone: Beaches Negril Resort & Spa, I shared my new found love for Beaches Negril when my running partner, Renee, and I ran the Reggae Half Marathon. We had a blast spending five nights and six bliss-filled days at the resort. Not only was it perfect for us to relax at the spa and sip a fruity drink on the beach; it’s filled with fun play for kids of all ages, too.
During our stay we had the opportunity to tour the property and learn about the variety of happenings available for kids. From babies to teens, they’ve got everyone covered. Here’s a few of the fun things your kids can experience:
- Kids Camp – daily activities from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. surprivised by trained nannies
- The Sesame Nursery
- Private Nanny Sitting
- The Trench Town Teen Center – a supervised area for teens only complete with foosball, basketball machines and bean bags
- Kids Diving Program
- Pirates Island Water Theme Park
- Carribean Adventure with Sesame Street – themed activities with daily character appearances, parades and shows
We couldn’t resist channeling our teen years and spending some time in the Xbox Play Lounge and at the Scratch DJ Academy. The Xbox Play Lounge is a jaw dropping, gaming playground that will thrill video game lovers of all ages; and the Scratch DJ Academy is a music lover’s delight where you can learn to cut and scratch old school style and have the opportunity to perform for friends and family.
This video gives you a sneak peek at our adventures in the Xbox Play Lounge and the Scratch DJ Academy. It was non-stop laughter and crazy fun.

Until next time, I’m off and running …
