Pickup trucks are often thought to be the domain of men, but adventurous women, or women who work in construction, plumbing or large scale art projects, are also likely to drive pickup trucks. So while Toyota trucks are not exactly feminized, they do have the creature comforts that women (and men) expect in luxury cars.
The Toyota Tundra has standard dual zone climate control, so the driver and front seat passenger can be equally comfortable; there are also USB ports, leather trimmed heated seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Of course there are also premium audio and navigation systems along with a large touchscreen.
A designer handbag wouldn’t look out of place here – great because Toyota is part of a Good Housekeeping pocketbook promotion.
In this promotion, new this year at the New York International Auto Show, at the Javits Convention Center, Good Housekeeping is giving away 35 designer handbags. Bags will be given away throughout the show, which runs between April 3 and 12th.
To enter to win, you first have to buy tickets for and go to the NY Auto Show (#NYIAS). Show attendees must take a photo of themselves in the drivers seat of a Toyota truck in the Toyota booth with the Women in the Drivers Seat plaque and tweet or Instagram it with the hashtags #LetsGoPlaces and #GHDrives.
