Mark your calendars for the 13 days in 2013 when families can enter free to more than 2,000 national parks. The free days include Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 21, and National Park Week, April 22 – 26.
Some parks included are Grand Canyon National Park, Yosemite National Park , and Denali National Park and Preserve.
Every state has at least one spectacular park, where you can hike, bike, snowshoe or just enjoy the great outdoors.
To find a national park offering free admission check out the National Park Service’s website. The fee waiver covers admission fees only, not extras like camping or tours.
