As we say goodbye to 2015, we’re resolved to say goodbye to bad habits as well. Who doesn’t want to start the new year more organized and on top of things? That’s one way to make our lives easier, and to free up quality time doing things we enjoy (like traveling) with people we love. So join us at the next #TMOM Twitter party, when we’re giving away our secrets for leading a more organized life…..and giving away a rice cooker to one lucky party-goer chosen at random.

#TMOM Twitter Party – Resolved: Living Organized in the New Year!

As we TMOMs face a new year, we all seem to have one thought in mind. Yes, we love our lives, our families, our travels – but there must be an easier way to get it all done. Many of us would even confess to “missing” some of the magic of the holiday season, because we’re too busy rushing around trying to accomplish everything in a limited amount of time. There must be an easier way, right?

Right. And that’s why we’re all making the same resolution this year – to get our lives organized, which will make everything a little bit easier (and give us more time to enjoy the life we have!). We’re so excited about the new plan, we’re going to share it with you at our next #TMOM Twitter party – all about getting our lives in order, in order to enjoy our lives more!

Come as you are – organized or total chaos, you’ll find something to talk about, laugh about, and learn from as we share our favorite tips (as well as our stumbling blocks). For example, at the end of every month, I make a monthly menu that I display along with the kids’ artwork on the refrigerator door. This doesn’t just let everyone know what they can expect for dinner each night. It also lets me know ahead of time what needs to be thawed or prepped. I even make my bi-weekly shopping lists based upon the menus. It takes a little time, but has become a great stress reliever in my life.

But before you think I have it all together, consider this….my car is a bottomless pit, literally. Where are my husband’s sunglasses? The missing Dunkin Donuts travel mug? Libby’s left tap shoe? You can bet that each of these is somewhere….somewhere!….in my beloved Saturn Vue. I need to figure out how to get my car organized, so when a road trip presents itself, we can just get up and go…..without a major clean-up first. Anyone have any tips for me?
