Before kids, (BK), I went tandem hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Twice. First time, my pilot -- a very cute 22 year old Carioca -- forgot his camera. Every summer my beloved state of Vermont gets an influx of tourists. I can't blame them. Vermont in the summer is a beautiful place and while we may be known for our snow and skiing, Vermont summers are truly some of the most picturesque that I have ever witnessed. 
Just in time for Mother’s Day, AOL premieres a new series, “Little Women, Big Cars”. The show centers around 4 moms in Los Angeles and stars Amy Yasbeck (Wings, Hot in Cleveland), Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Psych), Romy Rosemont (Glee), Julie Warner (Crash, Nip/Tuck), Ed Begley Jr. (Portlandia, The New Adventures of Old Christine) and Antonio Sabato Jr. (Melrose Place, The Bold and the Beautiful).
I’ll never forget the first time I traveled as a mom, my baby girl was 3-months old and we had a 2-week vacation planned. We were spending a long weekend seeing the sights in San Francisco, 5 days snowboarding in Park City, then a week in San Diego visiting family. Looking back, I guess that was kind of an aggressive itinerary. 
What is it about traveling that puts me into a twilight zone of sorts in the week before I leave? Anxiety starts to set in, telling me that I won't get enough work done before I go. I won't remember to pack something important. I won't have time to get the pedicure that I so desperately need as my toes see sunshine for the first time in months. I won't, I won't, I won't.
