At Christmas, we’re all busy doing last minute shopping, planning our holiday feasts, and making arrangements for our celebrations. In all the craziness of the holiday, we wanted to remember the magic and warmth the season brings. We talked about our plans for Christmas and shared past memories at our December 20 Monday night Twitter Party.

We shared our most cherished Christmas traditions, the corniest ones, and if we’re traveling this year.

What’s the corniest Christmas tradition?

@bdavisnc88: Sprinkle glitter for fairy dust for the reindeer to find food.

@sunrae17: Save the stockings for last.

@mellanhead: We buy new babies ornaments with their names and dates.

@pen4dav143: We always got our Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve. And watch xmas movies and a book reading.

What Christmas traditions have you created or changed for your kids?

@sweetlifeinthe: New tradition this year: 12 gifts of Christmas.starting small with 1 big gift for number 12.

@justicecw: We love Elf on the Shelf..so fun!

@GoBig_GoHome: Santa comes to our house a day early since we spend Christmas Eve in Long Island with family. Kids have never caught on!

@ramblingstump: We have good friends over and their kids on Christmas Eve and all (adults included) decorate extremely elaborate cookies.

@Forever_Charmed: We watch Christmas movies the whole week leading up to Christmas and then all day on Christmas.

Do your Christmas traditions include travel? Do you wish they did?

@sweetlifeinthe: We stay home for Christmas but New Years is open for travel.

@sleatham1: We do not travel during the Christmas holiday, and I prefer it that way. I prefer being home with family!

@sunrae17: We are going to the Caribbean for our 40^th wedding anniversary.

@CindyRichards: I wish we could travel somewhere warm. But both sides of the family are in Chicago. So no warmth for me.

What’s your favorite Christmas memory or tradition?

@ChaoticKarma23: My favorite Christmas memory is my last Christmas with my mom.

@Forever_Charmed: Watching my kids open their gifts on Christmas morning.

@Mystic_Sorrow: Each of my kid’s first Christmas.

@kimorlando: I love Christmas Eve- 13 kinds of seafood, whole family is there. Fire. Opening gifts after dinner. Kids impatient.

What’s the worst gift you ever got? From who?

@mnsixofus: Stepstool from hubby a few years back. I do use it but just caught me off guard!

@zwei2go: The worst gift I ever received was a set of pajamas that were 3 sizes too big.

@gaynycdad: My first Christmas at the in-laws, they regifted a 5-year-old cologne set. I tried to return it- that’s how I found out.

Do you regift? Would you?

@pen4dav143: Not guilty at all, because I only regift nice things; And I would regift alcohol too. Don't drink. Would never regift undies!

@Uticawoman: Regift candy, anything too sweet, I’m diabetic.

@kimorlando: I regift wine a lot. Don't drink it, don't know which is good or bad so it cycles thru here.

@GoBIG_GoHome: Absolutely! It’s the “eco” thing to do.
