Q: “What is Liz Lange’s perfect family vacation?”
A: According to maternity fashion designer Liz Lange, the perfect vacation means traveling with kids. “Because I work really hard, when it comes to vacation I don’t want to go without my children. Our perfect vacation has to work on two levels: my husband and I have to enjoy it, and the kids must enjoy it, too.”
Lange's favorite family vacation destinations include places where they can see and eat things they don’t get a chance to in everyday life. She finds this inspiring to her business as a designer. They also like family vacations where they can just lay around and rest near the pool or the beach.
“One of our best trips was to Capri, Italy, a beautiful and rustic destination,” say says. “The Italians were so friendly and open – although there weren’t specifically kid-centric things to do, it was a great country for them. The atmosphere was welcoming and there was pizza and pasta everywhere.”
