I usually write about Kosher food products and beverages, which is required whenever I travel anywhere with my family. The kids need their nosh (snacks) and I need my chocolate and coffee! Something else I need, but don't always have to time to put on, is my make-up. My mother always said that a “little lipstick and rouge” goes a long way. I unplug from all technology from Friday night at sundown until Saturday night at sundown. Why? Shabbat is a day of rest. On April 7, 2012 (by the way, call your mother and make plans early) Jews from around world will sit down and enjoy a Passover meal. The Star-K (Kosher food authority) has reviewed the ingredients of ShainDee Cosmetics and has determined that many of them are chometz (wheat) free. For many Observant Jews, make-up with any chometz in it during Passover is prohibited. If there is somebody allergic to some products in makeup, this might be helpful to them as well.
