Packing Tips

Make a copy of passports, driver's license, credit cards, tickets, all confirmations, medical and vaccination records, membership and frequent flyer cards and insurance information. Scan and email all the documents to your Web-based email account so you can access it from your smartphone or nearest  Wi-Fi access point. Then tuck the paper copies into your suitcase as an additional back-up.

I suggest always packing 3-5 extra plastic bags--either zip locks or grocery bags--in your carry on. You never know when a juice bog will spill, diaper will leak, the bag of cheerios will bust, or muddy shoes will need to be wrapped up. A prepared mom is a happy mom. Bring some bags!
