Barnacle Bill's--THE Place to Eat in Tallahassee

FamilyFun TravelingMom
Barnacle Bill's is a Tallahassee experience.
barnaclebillssignYou know how some restaurants become part of the city they are in, that they are a “don’t miss” when you visit that town?  That’s what Barnacle Bill’s is to Tallahassee.  Around for three decades, it’s a dive in the most loving of definitions.

skilletThey offer half pound burgers and tasty wings, but my favorite is the oysters (I liked the Parmesan Oysters). They offer “Fresh from Florida” seafood and even have the cool cut-out frame to pose in front of when you want to photograph your experience.  My husband ate the Skillet Supreme and LOVED it.  It’s a mixture of steak, shrimp, scallops, onions, celery, mushrooms, green peppers, keilbasa sausage, served over yellow rice with garlic bread.  Yep, a man meal.

But you’re honestly not going to Barnacle Bills for the food (my apologies to the chef).  You’re going for the experience.

Enjoy!

(Note to the reader: My family was invited by the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to visit Tallahassee.  Some of our expenses were covered. My opinion of what we did and saw is my own and I was not compensated for the review.)

I can't believe me eyes. I went to school and lived in Tallahassee for 5 years and my husband actually worked "Down Below" in the club under Barnacle Bill's. What a flashback.
