California has lots to offer traveling moms and is a great family vacation destination. Here are five kid-friendly and family-friendly spots in the Golden State.
Wishon: Yosemite Family Camp - Just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park, families stay in comfy lakeside cabins while enjoying crafts, horsebackriding, tennis, volleyball and other activities.

Los Angeles: Skirball Cultural Center - With exhibits that change frequently there is always something new to do. Permanent Noah's Ark exhibit is fun for kids of all ages. Allows kids to climb, and do hands on "work" on a version of Noah's Ark made from recycled materials.
