Club_Med_Sandpiper In the heart of Florida, Club Med Sandpiper offers a variety of highlights appealing to families that enjoy sports. Club Med Sandpiper is 45 north of West Palm Beach or about 1 ½ hours from Ft. Lauderdale/Miami. Club Med Sandpiper is known for World Class Tennis as the International Tennis Academy (ATA) just moved their headquarters here from Delray Beach, FL.  Club Med Sandpiper has just invested $888,000 into the facility which now has 14 hard courts and 6 clay courts with a new club house at the tennis center.

Club Med Sandpiper offers extensive children’s programs appropriate for ages starting at 4 months through 17 years.  Club Med Sandpiper is located on the Saint-Lucie River as it is not a beach resort.  That being said, this is a huge river and they have sailing and waterskiing, which is included in the all-inclusive pricing. Club Med Sandpiper has made a beach on the river for activities but it also has 5 pools, 1 exclusively for adults and 1 for the Mini Club Med. 

Club Med Sandpiper is located within 10 minutes of 6 world class golf courses and they  have excellent golf packages that are extremely affordable plus there is a course on the resort property grounds.

On August 21st Club Med Sandpiper will close the resort until Dec. 15th to renovate the public areas and all 113 Deluxe rooms (the resort currently has a total of 337 rooms with 54 Family Rooms).

The family-friendly resort is also about 1 ½ hours from Orlando making this a good pre/post cruise vacation stop.   For families wanting to try the attractions in Orlando, there is an excursion for the day from the resort.
