On Location Tours: A Must Do While In NYC

Spa TravelingMom
Walk in the footsteps of your favorite TV and movie characters during an On Location tour of New York City.
travmomonlocatioAre you a movie or television buff? Have a trip planned to NYC in the coming months? Want to visit the locations where your favorite movie scenes were filmed? The On Location Tours is the company for you.

After you've finished your general city tour (The Empire State Building, Central Park, indoor play areas, holiday shoppingtasting amazing pizza) - recharge your camera and hit up On Location Tours, which offers tours in New York City and Boston.

A few years back, my husband and I did the 'Sex and the City' tour. Not only did they take us to famed Carrie favorites such as the Manolo Blahnik store and Magnolia Bakery, but they also gave us a little time to shop as well. I devoured my (ticket-included) cupcake and bought two cookbooks from the bakery. I have been using butter-filled recipes ever since.

As a native New Yorker, I LOVED this tour because it allowed me to explore parts of my city that I would have never known about. Little streets, restaurants, churches and more. It was such a great day and I've recommended the tour to many, many friends since returning home.

Guided tours, both walking and bus, include New York TV & Movie Sites, Sex and the City Hotspots, Friends, Blue Bloods,  Gossip Girl Sites, Sopranos Sites, Seinfeld, Enchanted, Spider-Man, I Am Legend, Men in Black, The Devil Wears PradaBrooklyn TV & Movie Sites, Central Park TV & Movie Sites, Boston TV & Movie Sites and Boston Movie Mile.

Price: Tickets range from $22 to $48 (but if you are traveling within the next two months - use code Winter12 for 12% off)

I'll have to check out this tour in the next couple of weeks! It's a cool indoor activity to do since it's so cold out.
