Location location location! I attended a conference near Times Square and HGI offered to host my stay. I was expecting a smallish room, noisy view and tons of people. What I got was a huge room, a good night’s rest and no line for the complimentary Starbucks coffee in the morning.
The location was perfect – one block off the main Times Square area, which meant less noise and that I could easily walk to everything. My conference was another nearby hotel and the lobby there was packed with a huge long line for coffee – that was not complimentary.
