As a traveling family it is important to select a cruise line that offers engaging supervised programs for all members of the family. Royal Caribbean’s new ship, the Oasis of the Seas, provides a unique Youth Zone with programs for children of all ages.
The Youth Zone complex, spanning 28,000-square-feet, includes a nursery for infants and toddlers. Parents traveling with small children will now have the opportunity to have a break while on vacation and traveling with infants. This is impressive because most kids clubs on ships do not accept babies and non potty-trained children, the Royal Babies and Tots nursery is a rarity.
The Royal Babies and Tots space is a fully-staffed nursery where children can be left in the care of Royal Caribbean’s trained professionals. Open daily, the nursery offers parents childcare drop-off options in the daytime and evening, carefully maintaining an optimum staff to child ratio. Daily interactive free-time play is also offered for parents and children, encouraging them to bond while playing with a variety of Fisher-Price developmental toys in specially-designed programs offered exclusively for Royal Caribbean. For instance, the Crayola Beginnings line of toddler art tools is featured in unique developmentally-appropriate art activities.
The Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, is offering many family friendly firsts for family travelers. The addition of the Royal Babies and Tots programming is going to make cruise travel easier for families traveling with babies.
