Traveling with kids can get expensive, especially when they are over the age of two. Babies and toddlers fly free as long as they sit on your lap, however once they reach the magic age of two, all that changes and you are forced to purchase a full adult fare. Luckily, there are plenty of deals to look forward to, throughout the year.

WestJet is known for their Blue Tag Thursday specials (keep your eye on their Twitter feed every Thursday for announcements) and Porter Airlines (my own personal favorite) releases 20-30% off specials throughout the month and 50% off deals a couple of times a year and this just happens to be one of those times!

Porter Airlines has extended their 50% off sale and is offering the deal on all airfare until tomorrow January 9, 2012. You can use promo code BOX50 to book any flight, as long as the travel is completed by April 30, 2012.  

WestJet is offering an "Everywhere We Fly" sale on flights and vacation packages until January 11, 2012. They have also jumped on the 50% off band wagon (as they usually do when Porter announces their sale) and are offering a special incentive for those visiting Eastern Canada. If you have plans to visit Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, St. John's Quebec City or Thunder Bay you can save an additional 50% off with Promo code PCR15 and coupon code P7MJ2W2. Both codes are required at the time of booking on the first page and they must be made by January 9, 2012. As with Porter, travel must occur before April 30, 2012.

And of course, there is Air Canada. Not to be left out, the airline is offering 50% on select routes within Canada and the U.S. Use Promotion Code PROMO2611 on Canadian destinations or USPROMO26DEC11 on U.S. Destinations.
