Caribbean Ziplining Adventure on Island of St. Kitts
Wheeee! I’m a confessed adrenalin junkie! Adding another zipling destination to my adventures is always a bonus, and the Sky Safari Tour is the perfect-add on for your St. Kitts family vacation.
Compared to other ziplines with dizzying heights, don’t worry, you’ll be happy here as each take-off and landing is at ground level or slightly above– maximum height is 20 feet!
Sky Safari Tours is a five zipline tour starting with one trainer line, 180 feet long. Once you pass that test, you’re zipping through the trees like an expert. The highest point is 250 feet and the lowest is 10 feet, reaching speeds of up to 50 mph (80 km/hr)! The four larger ziplines vary in length from 500 to 1,350 feet.
The scenic Sky Safari zipline tour has you looking down on the St. Kitts Rainforest, flying through the famous “Valley of the Giants,” feet dangling above some of the largest trees on the island. Zip over Wingfrield River with an unobstructed views of Brimstone Hill.
Sky Safari Tours is on Wingfield Estate, home of the oldest rum distillery and last surviving aqueduct in the Eastern Caribbean. While waiting for your tour, explore the original Sugar estate ruins, original structures, equipment, chimney, aqua duct and other interesting historical elements.
