No we’re not dreaming. We’re talking about Universal Orlando Resort in central Florida, an entire universe of action and thrills for every member of the family.  If you opt to stay at one of the three luxurious, themed, on-site Loews Hotels here, your room key automatically gives you front-of-the-line access at most attractions.

The two theme parks -- Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure -- offer a stunning mix of Hollywood’s greatest movies and TV shows, innovative rides and attractions, and pop culture’s most famous icons.  Soaring over Hogwarts with Harry Potter is just one way to get your tweens and teens excited about a family vacation!

Maybe the dreamiest part of all?  Whizzing right to the front of the line at most of the attractions. Everyone likes to be treated like a VIP, after all. Ready, set, let’s play!

Crocs are good for hot weather and dry off quick if you get wet on water rides. Also, very comfortable.

Take the day in digestible chunks - its a marathon and not a sprint. This also allows us to take the time to enjoy our day more.

Have the family all look at the website before going and try to plan at least two stops for each person and then the rest is up for grabs. That way everyone is happy

Bring snacks in toddler snack cups with the reach in top, then hang them from the stroller with clips. The kids can reach in for their own when they get hungry, keeps them from whining and saves you from rooting around in a bag every 5 mins. Even my husband and I and my older nieces use the cups, they are not just for little ones.

Eat a big breakfast and snack during the day. Don't try to do a big lunch in the park. My kids are always too busy to care anyway. :)
