The Sony Bloggie Touch did a great job recording the Lee DeWyze concert in NYC this week. He is promoting his album, "Live It Up!," that will be released any day now. I knew from his "American Idol" days that he could sing but I did not know he could write. Look for "Weightless," a song he wrote that he said is one of his favorites. Mine too now. It’s wonderful.
The Sony Bloggie performed well too. It is EZ PZ to use with only three buttons on the outside: On/Off, Photo and record. There are a few settings choices via the touch screen but all things I figured out within five minutes.
There is no flash but it is made with a special chip that allows more light. I was skeptical but you can see for yourself how well the shot below came out. Keep in mind we were in a dark room and the stage was backlit. You’ll be surprised.
The only feature I missed was a mic jack, but for a quick recording device, this one works.
Disclosure: Sony provided the Bloggie Touch
