Have you ever found out about an event that would help others, the community, teach lessons to the family AND be fun? Well, I found one for you: Lollipop-A-Palooza! Lollipop-a-palooza is a one-of-a-kind competition to raise funds for the Rhode Island Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Lollipop-A-Palooza is an event for the entire family and besides sampling lollipops and voting, there will also be entertainment by The Toe Jam Puppet Band.  The competition is the search for the "best" lollipop in Rhode Island. The event takes place this Saturday November 13, 2010 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at the Edgewood Yacht Club, 3 Shaw Avenue in Cranston, RI

This one-of-a-kind competition was organized by Johanna Corcoran, founder of Familytopia. The event is only $5.00 per person; ALL PROCEEDS benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Rhode Island.   6 Candy Makers include: Amy's Apples, Chocolate Dreams, Scrumptions Tiff's Wicked Cakes, The Smallest Bite & Ulabu.com
