Sundance Resort in Utah is famous for its Sundance Film Festival each winter, but it's also a wonderful place to take a summer family vacation. The resort has a variety of activities for the family such as horseback riding, fly fishing, tubing down the Provo River, hiking to local waterfalls, the Sundance Summer Theater, art classes at the art shack and more.
Our family had a great time taking the wheel-thrown pottery class. The instructor was friendly and veryhelpful. We learned a lot, felt successful, and came home with two pieces of pottery each. Bonus, they mail you your pots so no worrying about packing them.The Mountain Retreat cabins are spacious and comfortable for a family. They come with a full kitchen so you can prepare meals. You can also order room service or eat at the Founder Grill or the Tree Room. Both offer delicious food that is prepared by professional chefs.
Sundance is also a Eco friendly resort. They use organic and natural products. Every room and cabin has a recycling bin. You are provided with a re-usable grocery bag. They even have a glass blowing shop where the glass blowers create amazing art from glass they recycle at the resort.Sundance Resort is a beautiful mountain retreat.
