For the past three years, I've been a speaker at the Women in Business Summits sponsored by Events of Joy. This year, as always, I was among an extraordinary group of speakers. Among them were the two keynotes: Liz Lange, founder and creative director of Liz Lange Maternity, and Ellen D. Rothberg, president and ceo of VNA Healthcare, Inc.As I listened to Liz, I really appreciated her energy, positive attitude, and willingness to share her experiences with the audience. I knew there was a lot of great advice she could give me personally to help me better manage as an entrepreneur and mother; I also knew that TravelingMom readers could equally benefit from her thoughts about juggling business and family.Lucky for me, Liz graciously accepted my invitation to be interviewed for a Sanity article. She couldn't have been kinder or more open with her responses. I again was reminded that great success comes to good, hardworking people. I feel priviledged to have had the opportunity to write this article. I hope you enjoy this week's Sanity article featuring my interview with Liz Lange.By the way, in the photo above that's me, second from the left, in my grey suit; and there's Liz, two down to the right from me, in her gorgeous spring-colored dress. Hmmmm. I think I picked up a few wardrobe tips, too! Thanks again to Liz Lange for sharing her wonderful tips and for making mothers everywhere look gorgeous during one of the most important, special times in their lives.
