Last week, I wrote about when you shouldn't use credit cards to get travel rewards. But, there are definitely some people who can benefit from travel reward credit cards.  Here are a few ways to know if these cards are good for your family.

Families who pay off their cards every month

Most credit cards with worthwhile rewards have a higher interest rates than other cards.  If you pay off your credit card balance every month, then you won't need to worry about the interest rate.  In fact, if you do pay off your card every month, you deserve rewards!

Families that travel frequently

There are lots of reward cards, and not all of them offer travel rewards.  Only families that actually travel frequently should consider using a travel reward cards.  Otherwise, you can likely find something that works better for you.

Brand Loyalty Matters
