Desiree, I’ve contacted you via e-mail. You have until Thursday, July 23 to claim your prize. Thanks, everyone, for entering!

Kuru Footwear calls itself the World’s Most Anatomical Active Footwear.

This is so important. There’s nothing worse than planning a walking tour of the town — or a long day at Disney World — and finding that your feet hurt after the first half hour. It can ruin a good day and the entire vacation. TravelingMom wants to help. We’re giving away one pair of Kuru Shoes — any pair you choose from the Kuru Footwear online store, even the Kuru Travel Shoes – to a lucky winner. I am partial to these Kruzr II shoes, myself. Too bad they don’t have a line of children’s shoes too. It would be great to have an entire vacation with the kids without one of them complaining there was too much walking required.

Some examples of what they do:

kuru footwear womenkuru women footwear

How you can win:
Check out Kuru Footwear and look at what they offer. I am partial to these Kruzr II shoes, myself. After you’ve looked around a bit, come back here and tell me your favorite shoe and color.

Who is eligible:
You must have a US or Canadian mailing address. You don’t have to be a blogger to win, just supply a valid e-mail address.

When the giveaway ends:
Friday, July 17, 2009. I’ll e-mail the winner and post the results at the top of this page. If the winner doesn’t respond within four days, a new winner will be drawn.

Special offer for TravelingMom readers:
TravelingMom.com readers will receive 10% off their entire purchase from Kuru Footwear with promotional code TravelingMom15.

I love the thought of having my heels all cushioned up! As we get older (not saying that I am), the fatty tissue in our feet gets thinner. I have to wear orthos in my shoes and I’m not even 40! I’ll be in SLC this week. May have to go to their factory and say HI!

Hey there, I never had the chance to wear KURU shoes. They are not available in Canada. I have been wanting to try out the Cirque Leather shoe. Look’s great for all kind’s of use! Indoor or out .. Rain (It’s Canada!!) or not … But most of all, the “comfortness” is what is the most apealing … Can’t wait to try them out! (And show them at local shops!) My 2 cents .. . Have a nice on! .. Climb on!

I love the Kruzr hiking shoe. Esp. in Red. I could have used those a few weeks ago when I sprained both ankles while in Colorado hiking.

I would have to order the Slipstream in Madder Brown & Black because it’s a slip-on type of shoe. I stay barefoot around the house so I tend to prefer a slip-on style when I head out the door. I have lower back problems, I wonder if these would help!

Someone posted a pair of black and pink Draft yesterday on Twitter and I thought they would be super cute to wear when doing breast cancer awareness activities. I didn’t see that color combo on the site, but I did see a pink and brown Chicane that looked cute and comfy.

I like the Chicane leather one’s because they look the most supportive and CUSHY. I’m desperate for some CUSHY as I walk 18 holes of golf 3 times a week–my feet ache after . . . not because I’m old, old, just a little old . . . so I’m thinking it might just be time to get something CUSHY!

I would like to try the Draft Softshell, in the Jet Black/Pink. They look super comfortable, and with the style of this particular shoe, they would be quick & easy to wear too. Not too bad of a price either on these. Sometimes we’d pay much more for something that is actually comfortable! Think long walks on a vacation… like going to Disney with the kids!

I love that Cruzr II in celestial blue…if you could smell the inside of my latest pair of active shoes you might think it an eco-friendly world srevice to get me to toss them in favor of the Cruzr II. But they are so darn comfy!! I can’t toss them until I find something as comfortable – Cruzr II you might be the lucky pair!

I really am interested in this technology. I will admit being a shoe freak, and partial to functional and earthy shoes like Keen, Earth, Born…etc. BUT, these are opposite of the Earth:Kelso theory. I would love the chance to try out these shoes as they claim to be excellent for walking and moving. I am a mover and a shaker. I need a pair of shoes that are not bulky, are versitle and comfortable and that are able to keep up with my life. I work in a museum and am constantly on my feet. I also am a mother of 4 that is constantly on the go. Having somthing that I can transition in would be wonderful. I am always searching for the perfect shoe. After looking around on the website, I am partial to the Draft, Java Olive or Black Pink. Woudl love to see a toe shot though. The Kruzer comes in second in the Java Olive. I like the fact that they are moisture wicking and collapsable. Thanks for the chance! My feet would thank you. Just incase, I am bookmarking the site to come back for a purchase!
