If I am anything, I am a reflective thinker. Any idea, debate, or experience must be mulled over for days (and sometimes weeks) before I can fully process it. As you can imagine, I’m awful in real-time arguments. What’s worse is that I’m awful at writing re-caps in a timely manner. Case in point: the Mommy Bloggers Disney Cruise.
In January I was invited to attend a Mommy Blogger Disney Cruise onboard the Disney Wonder. The event was sponsored by BSM Media and Disney. Before I tell you about how incredible this experience was, I want to say a hearty and heartfelt THANK YOU to Maria, Jonathan, Laura, and Leanne. Thank you for inviting me, thank you for taking care of me in a way only Disney can, and thank you for opening my eyes to what a cruise should be.
I’ve been on cruises before, but never like this one. The Disney Wonder is. . .well. . .wondrous. Having visited Disney World several times, I am fully aware that Disney spares no expense when it comes to hospitality and cleanliness. This transfers beautifully to their cruise lines as well. For my entire stay (Thursday through Sunday), my stateroom was immaculate, I had more than enough opportunities to enjoy myself, and the food was delicious and true to my order. In the coming weeks I’m going to show you (I took over 40 videos!) and tell you about my cruise and what you can expect when you book yours.
This week I’ll finish by giving you a tour of my stateroom. It was the largest I’ve ever been in! The thing that struck me most was that there are two bathroom areas: one with a shower (and tub!) and sink, another with a toilet and sink. Genius, I tell you! Everyone can get ready at the same time!
I want to point out that the bed in the stateroom was really big! Also, the couch you see in the video makes into a bed and a bed also pulls out from the wall for a sort of bunk bed experience. If you have a family of four, this room will comfortably fit all of you!
The Complete Disney Cruise Line Series:
1. Disney Cruise Line: The Disney Wonder 2. Adult Experiences on Disney Cruise Lines (you don’t need the kids to enjoy DCL!) 3. Family-Friendly Experiences on Disney Cruise Lines (it’s more than you think!) 4. Castaway Cay (Disney’s very own island!) 5. Food (Wow! So many restaurants, so much food!) 6. Entertainment (Yes. It needs its own post!) You can see all 40 (yes! forty!) of my videos at NewBaby.com (it’s not just for moms and babies, you know).Last 5 posts by TravelingDisneyMom
