Please read a few of the stories currently published on Travelingmom to acquaint yourself with our tone. We want a BFF edge to our stories. We are not a travel guide. We are the place a mom would go to find out what works for kids, what doesn't and what she needs to know before she goes. In short, tell our readers what you would tell your best friend if she wanted to take the same trip you just took. Providing insider tips and advice are the key to selling us a story.

Travelingmom reserves the nonexclusive right to republish your story, under your name, in other columns or books for up to one year from date of author agreement. If any money is collected for republishing, 75% will be paid to the author. Travelingmom reserves the right to edit stories for length and clarity.

Most of our site is written by the members of our TravelingMom Blogger Network. However, we do consider freelance submissions for the destinations and tips sections. If we run your submission, we will be happy to link to your site or give you space to promote your book or other business. We pay only for assigned articles, generally $25.
